Why did I think living in Utah would be fun?

I don't know if you made it to church or not because I woke up sick and didn't make it. But, after Sunday School church in the entire stake was cancelled because of the snow! And the storm is supposed to last all night as well. maybe school will be cancelled tomorrow as well.

I'm gathering up word counts from the BIAM -- what's your final tally?

It's so, so bad, isn't it? Steve spent an HOUR shoveling just our driveway.

Just after I left my earlier comment, my daughter in law and grandson came over. She got stuck in the driveway and it took 2 of the boys to get her out.

I hate snow with a fiery passion. Too bad it's not fiery enough to melt it.

Looks like my backyard this morning. Our stake canceled all church. People who were superbowl fans thought it was an answer to prayer!

year round flip flop wearing in hawaii is sounding REALLY good to me..... did you get all that snow today? we only got an inch or so in sandy...i say go to bed with hot chocolate and your laptop or a nice vampire book and stay there until spring...now that would be fun :)

Uh... yeah. Because of various early morning meetings, Hubby had to shovel like five times today. Every time we left the house, everything needed to be shoveled all over again.

Have I mentioned my deep and abiding hatred of snow? Your pics are beautiful. But they don't show the cars the slid off on the way to church, nor do they show the brown, grey, and yellow snow all over the roads. Nor do they show my drenched and frozen toes after I wore the very worst possible shoes (I'm too vain for common sense) to church today.
