When I get like that I usually take a major break from everything...even if just for an hour. I overload myself on things I enjoy. I wrap up in a blanket, put in a movie or grab a book, and sit down for a little bit with a bunch of chocolate, popcorn and a Coke! I usually feel much better afterwards...well except for the belly ache from eating all the junk!
I'm with Britt - I need the cure too if you ever find one.
Invite all your inlaws over for dinner--that will trigger all insecurities to a frenzied pitch and you'll be accomplished in no time.
