A Heavenly Day

An explanation for my non-LDS friends. Faithful members of our church get married in one of our LDS temples. Before they get married (or go on missions, or when they become an adult), they go through the temple and make commitments to the Lord about the type of life they will lead from this point forward.

Today was a special day because I got to escort my daughter through the temple. It was her first time. It was a beautiful experience that I shall remember and treasure forever.

Now playing on my iPod: I'm Going to the Temple

Which temple is that? It's very pretty and I don't recognize it. It reminds me of my Sacramento temple, but not quite.

Alyssa, it is the Mt. Timpanogos temple.

I can't believe that Megan is all grown up. But she has grown up into such a beautiful woman, inside and out. I am glad that I know her. And it was good to see your parents today.
