SNORT That Bee!—CONTEST CLOSED

My DH got stung by a bee yesterday. In the face. Less than 24 hours before the wedding!

Aaack!

But my mother came to the rescue with a remedy. It worked wonderfully—no sign of the sting this morning.

Guess what she suggested?

  • Calamine lotion
  • Aloe vera gel
  • Baking soda and water paste
  • Benadryl spray
  • Onion pack

CONTEST CLOSED

Contest: Leave a comment telling us your pick for the bee sting remedy.

Deadline: You have until midnight on Tuesday, June 30th to post your answer in the comments section. Two winners: 1) a random drawing from everyone that plays; and 2) random drawing from those who guessed correctly.

Prize: Your choice of any of the remaining prizes HERE.

I'm going to go for the paste made of baking soda and water, because that's what my mother used to put on my bee stings when I was a kid.

I am going with the onion pack because I know that works.

The only one i know of is the one where you put ice on it in till the stinger comes out and then the swelling will go down... i think... maybe im making this up.. ha ha.. but out of the ones you listed im going to say benadryl spray cause benadryl works for everything. ha ha..
