Painter's Chair represents over thirty artists and their paintings, glassworks, sculptures and photography. I immediately gravitated to this one:
Seems fitting, considering the trip we're on.
There were so many beautiful paintings in this gallery—still lifes, landscapes, seascapes, florals, animals—in a variety of styles—classic, realistic, impressionistic, fantasy. It was absolutely breathtaking!
I prefer portraits. There's something about a captured face that sends my imagination soaring, wondering what their story is. A few of them inspired thoughts of new characters or books. Here are some of my favs.

I totally fell in love with Rob Gonsalves' work. It was surprising and imaginative and made you think, too.
So now we're hurriedly packing up for a quick flight down to LA for the Eclipse Convention. We'll be there for the weekend and then fly back to Coeur d'Alene early Monday morning. We're hoping to get lots of photo ops and autographs! Wish us luck.
