Forks or Bust: Day 14

Today, we only drove about an hour from Couer d'Alene, ID to Spokane, WA.

We visited Riverfront Park—"100 acres of fun right in the heart of Downtown Spokane."

First, we took the gondola skyride past City Hall,
then a slow 200 foot drop over Huntington Park,
crossed the Spokane River, past the falls...

under the Monroe St bridge, then back again.

Then we did the Sculpture Walk.
This goat sculpture has a vacuum inside it that allows it to "eat" small pieces of trash.

This is the "Red Wagon"
Edward wanted to tip it—just because he could
but I talked him out of it

After the Sculpture Walk, the Cullens took off for Seattle. At first, we were lonely, but then Jacob's Wolf Pack showed up.

We went to the Spokane Flour Mill

which would have been a little boring, except that we ditched the tour guide and we played hide & seek in the old building. There were lots of dark corners to hide in, but we humans were definitely at a disadvantage.

Jacob cheating and running away when I almost found his hiding place.

Then, we all dressed up fancy and went to dinner at the famous Clinkerdagger's Restaurant.

All the wolves ordered this:

After dinner, we went to the IMAXX for a special screening of Twilight and New Moon.

Twilight without a doubt! It was just so exciting to see how Stephenie's fabulous book and vision would be played out on the big screen. The excitement when the Cullen kids started strutting into the cafeteria was the beginning of the mayhem!

i liked the book twilight much better than new moon....but as far as the movies go...i am a little disappointed in both of them...i think they made bad choices for the characters...but that aside i liked the movie new moon better.
i think they had a bigger budget and it didn't look like as much of a low budget movie as twilight.
