Forks or Bust: Day 8

Six hours in the car! Ugh! Well, it was 5 hours in the car, plus a few stops to stretch our legs. It's a long drive from Butte, MT to Coeur d'Alene, ID but that's okay because we'll be staying here for a few days.

The Cullen Clan and the Denali Clan meet here every spring for a mini-reunion. There are enough forests around for them to feed well and lots of other exciting things to do.

By the time we got here and checked into our motel, the only thing we had time for (had the energy for) was the Lake Pend Oreille Cruise aboard the Shawnodese (which is the Spirit Keeper of the South in Native American culture, also represented by a coyote).

(And a coyote is close enough to a wolf that we're pretending it's related to Jacob.)

(Isn't that image lovely? You can get it HERE.)

And, our exceptional luck being what it is, look who we found taking the same cruise we were on!

Here's another shot from the deck as we were on the cruise.

Some people thought it was funny to keep sticking their heads in front of my camera!

When we got back from the cruise, it was almost dark. We built a fire on the beach and roasted Skittles and made S'Mores. (Who knew Jasper was such a Skittle addict??)

Hands starting bottom left and going clockwise:
Jasper, Rebecca, Me, Edward, some stranger who crashed our party
