There are several LDS authors whom I call friends, and Rebecca Talley is one of them. She has a new book out this month!
The Upside of Down
"Hmmm," the doctor muttered.
Natalie wrinkled her forehead, almost afraid to ask, and said, "What does that mean?"
"You do know you're pregnant, right?"
Her breath caught in her throat.
Her heartbeat thundered in her ears. "I'm what?"
Natalie Drake certainly has her hands full raising a large family, dealing with her difficult mother, and maintaining a relationship with her rebellious teenager. Just when things seem to be going smoothly, she finds out another unexpected surprise--she's going to have a baby. Faced with so many challenges, Natalie must learn to trust in a plan that isn't what she imagined and discover that every situation has an upside.
Rebecca Talley once again carefully crafts together a touching and heartfelt story that is sure to inspire you. With true-to-life characters and situations, The Upside of Down will reignite your faith and remind you of the importance of family.
Rebecca Talley lives in rural CO with her husband, 7 of her 10 children, a dog, cats, a spoiled horse, goats, and a miniature donkey named Starla.
Besides writing she loves to date her husband, play with her kids, swim in the ocean, make jewelry, and eat chocolate. She is the author of Grasshopper Pie, Heaven Scent, and Altared Plans.

Prize #2: LDS Author PackageI buy a lot—and I mean, A LOT—of books by LDS authors because: 1) they are my friends, 2) I like to support the industry in which I work, 3) LDS fiction is getting better and better overall. I also enter a lot of blog contests. So sometimes I end up with extra copies of books I already own. Here are a few of my doubles—all of them I've read, and all of them I liked.
This package contains: Loyalty's Web by Joyce diPastena—"Torture, blackmail, murder, forbidden love" in the Middle Ages; The Ball's In Her Court by Heather Justesen—a woman's search for her biological family, plus a healthy dose of romance; Previously Engaged by Elodia Strain—a fun, light romance that made me LOL; The Route by Gale Sears—life-changing insights gleaned while delivering 'Meals on Wheels'.
Prize #3: Rose EarringsThese gorgeous earrings were part of a gift with purchase from Chanté's Freckled Flower Shop (which is no longer up). I thought they were bee-yoo-tiful but I never wore them because I rarely wear silver jewelry. So my loss is your gain! One pair of silver rose cut-out earrings!
Prize #4: Book Lover's PackageReading is one of my favorite things in the world! (duh!) So this package contains items that a book lover needs. Includes: a key chain flashlight (for reading in the car at night; yes, I did that every Saturday night for years, when I took my MIL to mass); one clip-on book light for reading in bed after your spouse has gone to sleep (everyone does this, right?); one of the very last Book Bling metal, beaded bookmarks made by me; a package of string bookmarks (1 pig & 1 cat), a red bling pen (for making lists of books you want to read); and an "I Am Not a Serial Killer" button (because I like that series and it is a great conversation starter).
Prize #5: Miscellaneous Booty PackageThis prize is some cool, but totally un-related stuff: 1 liquid measurement equivalent magnet (for when you're too busy reading to do the math); 1 multi-pocket zipper travel baglet (for carrying book-related items on your vacation (like, bookmarks, pens, sticky notes, notepads, etc.); 2 note pad lists (that were purchased at a bookstore once upon a time); and a 12 pack of mini colored pens (yes, I do like those pens).
