Give Books for Christmas — My Prize!

I'm participating in the Give Books for Christmas Giveaway Hop!

Why? Because I think EVERYONE should give books as Christmas gifts. I do it every year. In fact, I've sort of become known for it within my family.

Over the next two weeks, I'll be posting about books that I think make wonderful Christmas gifts for various age groups. But if you want a head start, go here for my Top 10 Christmas Picture Books that I recommended in 2007.

But now for the Giveaway Hop.

I'm giving away a copy of Possession by Elana Johnson.

Here's the promo blurb:
Vi knows the Rule: Girls don't walk with boys, and they never even think about kissing them. But no one makes Vi want to break the Rules more than Zenn...and since the Thinkers have chosen him as Vi's future match, how much trouble can one kiss cause? The Thinkers may have brainwashed the rest of the population, but Vi is determined to think for herself.

But the Thinkers are unusually persuasive, and they're set on convincing Vi to become one of them...starting by brainwashing Zenn. Vi can't leave Zenn in the Thinkers' hands, but she's wary of joining the rebellion, especially since that means teaming up with Jag. Jag is egotistical, charismatic, and dangerous--everything Zenn's not. Vi can't quite trust Jag and can't quite resist him, but she also can't give up on Zenn.

This is a game of control or be controlled. And Vi has no choice but to play.

I really liked this book and I think it would be a great gift for older teen girls—or anyone who enjoys Young Adult dystopian fiction.

Deadline to enter: Midnight, Thursday, December 15, 2011.

My giveaway is open to U.S. entries only.

That's it! The winner will be posted and notified at the end of the hop.

* I just added the Rafflecopter form on 12/1. If you already entered, don't worry about it. Your entries are on the list. :)

This sounds a bit like a love story version of Ayn Rand's Anthem, which sounds good to me. I love both.
